OMPT-B generation 1: broad coverage at a moderate level
Generation 1 is the entry set for OMPT-B and the one that spreads its 64 questions most evenly over the syllabus. It is the gentlest level in a three-generation line, so trigonometry and integration turn up in their standard forms rather than in disguised ones.
Generation 1 complete: 64 questions spread over all ten OMPT-B chapters, a 150-minute allowance, and full written solutions. It is the lightest of the three papers in the line, not a shortened one. Recommended solving order: 1 → 2 → 3.
Who generation 1 is for
Start here if your programme asks for OMPT-B rather than OMPT-A and you are not yet sure how much of the extra material you actually know. It is also the set worth repeating after a block of revision, because full coverage makes the before and after easy to compare.
How to work through generation 1
There is no need to time the first attempt. Work through it with the OMPT-B syllabus open and treat every question you cannot start as a chapter to read rather than a question to guess. OMPT-B is usually budgeted at around 100 study hours, and this set tells you where to spend them.
