Generation 2 is the middle set in OMPT-B, one step under exam level. It carries the full 226-topic range including trigonometry and integration, but the chains are shorter. A typical integration question here wants one substitution, where generation 3 wants a rewrite before the substitution is even visible.

Who generation 2 is for
Good for the point where you have covered everything once and want to know whether the calculus has stuck. Applicants moving up from OMPT-A material often land here, since the first eight chapters feel familiar and the last two decide the score.
How to work through generation 2
Keep to 150 minutes so the pace is honest. Then split your errors into two piles, the ones from chapters OMPT-A also has and the ones from trigonometry and integration. If the second pile is bigger, and it usually is, spend the next week there rather than on another full paper.
Where generation 2 sits in the OMPT-B line
OMPT-B comes in three generations and generation 2 is the middle one. They share a syllabus, not questions. Going up the line raises the difficulty; going down widens the sweep and lightens it.

Is there a OMPT-B exam PDF to download?
There is nothing to download. OMPT-B generation 2 is solved in the browser through your Exam.ify account, under a timer if you want one, and the solutions stay in the same place afterwards, so the review happens where the questions are.
Is generation 2 of OMPT-B as hard as the real exam?
Harder than generation 1, easier than generation 3, which is the exam-level OMPT-B set. The difference is concentrated in how many steps a question expects you to chain before you reach something you can integrate or simplify.
