OMPT-G generation 2: one step below exam level
Generation 2 is the middle OMPT-G set, one step below exam level. Sequences, trigonometry, geometry, mechanics and chemistry all appear, but the physics and chemistry questions tend to ask for one relation at a time instead of a chain, so you can see whether the concept or the algebra is the problem.
The complete generation 2 paper: 26 questions, a three-hour allowance and full written solutions across the maths, mechanics and chemistry chapters of OMPT-G. Recommended solving order: 1 → 2 → 3.
Who generation 2 is for
The checkpoint for people who have revised both the maths and the science sides and want to know how they hold together. Most candidates discover the two do not fail at the same rate, and it is worth knowing which one drags before the dress rehearsal.
How to work through generation 2
Run it to the clock, 180 minutes. Then sort your errors into maths, physics and chemistry and count each pile. OMPT-G is budgeted at roughly 120 study hours, and the split between those three is the main decision you have to make about them.
Where generation 2 sits in the OMPT-G line
Three generations make up OMPT-G, numbered 1 to 3, and generation 2 sits in the middle. Each is a separate paper. The lower generations keep the subjects apart; the higher ones mix them.

There is no downloadable version. OMPT-G generation 2 is worked online in your Exam.ify account, which keeps the setup line of each physics and chemistry solution next to what you wrote yourself.
Is generation 2 of OMPT-G as hard as the real exam?
Below the real exam but not far below. Generation 3 is the exam-level OMPT-G set, and generation 2 sits a rung under it. The science content is the same. The questions simply combine fewer ideas per item, which makes a weak point easier to locate.
What kind of questions are on the OMPT-G test?
